Cerritos Senior High School in Cerritos California, is the place where she graduated in 1982. Rochon received a diploma in broadcast journalism from California State University Dominguez Heights (CSUDH) in 1986. Her minors included sociology, theatre as well as theatre. Ullerup first appeared in Battlestar Galactica remake, the Sci-Fi Channel's television show. The role she played was Julia Brynn. Her character, Ashley Magnus, was written out of Sanctuary's first and second seasons. The character was the topic of intense debate among people who wanted her return in future shows. But, the show ended up being cancelled in 2012. Ullerup played the role of Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in 2016. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas as the estranged ex-wife of Michael Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact.
