Noureen DeWulf
Noureen DeWulf (nee Ahmed) is an American actress from the United States. Her most famous roles are in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and West Bank Story (2006). In addition, she played Lacey in the sitcom Anger Management (2012 until 2014). DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed. She was an New York City native, to Gujarati Indian parents, from Pune, Maharashtra. She grew up in Stone Mountain in Georgia. She was raised Nizari Ismaili Muslim. There are two sisters. Her older sister, Aziza, teaches law at Northeastern University in Boston. Sara, her younger sister practices law in San Francisco. DeWulf went to Boston University's School for the Arts and was a theatre and international relations student. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati proficiently. DeWulf started her acting career with the Academy Award-winning short film West Bank Story. She was Fatima who is a dancer and singing Palestinian cashier who falls in love with the love of an Israeli soldier. Since then, she has been seen in comedic TV series and movies. She was a regular character on NBC's Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne from 2009-11. DeWulf also appeared in Maneater, an Lifetime mini-series. She played opposite Matthew McConaughey in the romantic comedy film Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), and played opposite Jeremy Piven in The Goods: Live Hard and Sell Hard (2009). She was also a star in The Taqwacores (2010), which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2010. She co-starred with Charlie Sheen in the television sitcom Anger Management that was a hit from 2012 to the year 2014 on FX.In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her performance as an infamous temp in the independent film Coffee, Kill Boss.In 2014, DeWulf was ranked #93 in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" for the second time (the previous time was 2007) as one of the top women in the world according to readers of the magazine. She was also featured on Nylon's "Top 30 Under 30" list for 2009.
